Oregon’s wild Pacific coast thrills guests of Sea and Sand RV Park in Depoe Bay, Oregon. Overlooking the ocean shore, the resort, located south of Lincoln City and north of Newport, makes one of the nation’s most scenic coastlines your backyard. Here, colorful sunsets, spectacular winter storms, and gray whale pods are all part of the backdrop.
The park allows RV travelers to stay close to the water. Terraced ocean RV sites put travelers on spaces that are perched above the beach. Positioned for optimal ocean views, these sites are just a short walk from the sandy shoreline. The seven-mile strip of beach is a treasure trove of shells, agates, and the occasional Japanese fishing float. The dog-friendly beach allows visitors to turn their pooch loose on the sand. Waste receptacles for canines are available.

The beach also has its own laundry and restroom facilities, so guests don’t have to trek inland.
Hilltop and Forests
Additional camping options at the park include hilltop sites and forest sites. Folks staying at full-hookup hilltop sites have access to 50-amp power and scenic views. Forested sites place guests among towering trees, offering seclusion in nature. Pull-through sites are available for travelers with longer vehicles. Here, closer to the heart of the park, guests can take advantage of the dump station, laundry facility, restrooms, showers, and a store offering RV supplies.

Free Wi-Fi is available to all guests in the park, and guests will find a table at each site. Gravel roads lead campers to their spaces, and nature trails guide explorers to the beach and other nearby attractions. The park is involved with Tents for Troops, and active-duty military personnel and families can enjoy two nights of complimentary RV camping.
Adventures in Oregon
Beyond the park, guests can immerse themselves in the rugged world of the Oregon Coast. From Depoe Bay, reserve a spot on a charter for deep-sea fishing, crabbing, and whale watching. For freshwater fishing, go inland for angling in a variety of rivers, creeks, and lakes.

Head 12 miles south to Newport for the Oregon Coast Aquarium and the Hatfield Marine Science Center. Walk through a clear underwater tunnel, with sharks, stingray and fish swimming overhead. Touch sea anemone and explore tide pools, get an up-close view of an octopus, or watch the sea otters romp.
