General Electric Appliances (GEA) has announced two new product lines designed specifically with RVs in mind. The company has unveiled a pair of electric ranges and two new coolers built to make life at the campground more enjoyable. Both products will be sold under the GE Profile brand and will debut at this week’s RV Hall of Fame Supplier Show.

The GE Profile RV Ready range comes in both drop-in configurations that are 17” and 21” in size and a 24” 12-volt stand-alone unit. The stoves feature cast metal, backlit knobs, and edge-to-edge grates that provide a clean, modern look. They also utilize GEA’s decades of experience designing appliances to create the best RV cooking experience possible.

The company says that it employed a team of food scientists who did extensive research to determine which items are cooked most commonly in an RV. Those researchers also asked frequent campers which meals they wished they could cook in their RV while traveling. The new line of ranges was engineered to address those needs while expanding the possibilities for what camp chefs can accomplish in their mobile kitchens.

In addition to the RV Ready ranges, GE Profile is releasing a pair of electric coolers. The two models will come in a 50-liter, single-zone version, and a 75-liter dual-zone option. The coolers can be powered using a standard home wall outlet or a 12-volt DC vehicle connection. An optional wheel kit increases the mobility and versatility of either cooler.

“As relative newcomers to this RV category, it’s imperative that we provide quality, value, and new advances in every product we make, just as we have done during our long history of making products for your home,” said Attila Krizsan, senior director of recreational living at GE Appliances.

Krizsan goes on to add, “These products are thoughtfully constructed and tested specifically for this segment to ensure easy installation on a production line or in the service bays. We listened to our buyers and made adjustments to ensure we’re adding value both to the RV owner and the installation teams.”

Pricing and availability have yet to be announced as of this publication date. Watch the GE Appliances website for future updates.
