In a continuing effort to preserve the environment and to encourage parks to become more eco-friendly, Woodall’s has announced the Woodall’s/ARVC Plan-It-Green “Green Friendly” Park Program. As part of the program, Woodall’s has built and posted an application on its Facebook fan page (http://www.facebook.com/woodalls) that is a searchable database of “green-friendly” parks.
Working together, Woodall’s and National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC), with some guidance from Leave No Trace (an organization dedicated to the responsible enjoyment of the outdoors), developed some “green friendly” criteria for RV parks and campgrounds and will use this criteria to designate an RV park or campground as “green friendly.”
If you are a campground that would like to be considered a “Green Friendly” park in Woodall’s, visit Woodalls.biz/Green-Friendly (http://woodalls.biz/green-friendly/index.cfm) to apply for the designation in the 2012 Woodall’s Directory.
