Winnebago Offers Compact Coach in ‘View’

The new Winnebago View for 2008 presents a classy, compact coach that
has a pewter exterior splashed with khaki metallic gold, black and ruby
touches. Built on the new Dodge Sprinter chassis, the Class C boasts
either the Mercedes-Benz 3.0-liter, turbodiesel engine or the
Mercedes-Benz 3.5-liter V-6 gas engine. Also, for the first time in any
motorhome, the View offers Adaptive ESP technology usually reserved for
upscale cars. ESP senses vehicle load and performance parameters to
maximize handling, control and driving stability.

The 24B model includes rear bunk beds (30×83 inches), a
curbside galley and full bath facilities opposite. Two 40×70-inch facing
sofas allow cross-coach sleeping accommodations, while the overhead bed
offers a 49×75-inch sleeping quarters. Interior headroom is ample at 6
feet 8 inches; necessities include a 33-gallon water tank, 18-gallon
LP-gas tank and 26.4-gallon fuel capacity. Decor choices include
Manchester, Calypso Spice and Stone Fence, with two woods available:
honey cherry and washed maple.

The stable, maneuverable, economical motorhome comes with a base manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $86,880 to $88,710.
