Winnebago Motorhomes Recalled

Originally Published in MotorHome Magazine

Winnebago Industries is recalling certain model-year 2007-08 and 2009-10
motorhomes because of a possible missing stove partition that isolates
the furnace air, according to U.S. Recall News.

The motorhome recall list is as follows:

  • 2007-2008 Access, Aspect, Sightseer and Vista
  • 2007-2008 Itasca Impulse, Cambria, Sunova and Sunstar
  • 2009-2010 Access, Sightseer and Vista
  • 2009-2010 Itasca Impulse, Sunova and Sunstar

According to U.S. Recall News, if the furnace and stove are used at
the same time, and the stove partition is missing, the stove’s flame
may go out and propane gas will continue flowing. If ignition occurs,
injury or property damage could result.

The recall is expected to start on or before Oct. 16. Owners may
contact Winnebago at 1-800-537-1885; the National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236; or visit safercar.gov.
