Venture Forth in a Ventura Motorhome

Originally Published in MotorHome Magazine

Following the successful launch of their first Sprinter Class C rig, Four Winds
International is rolling out a new Class B motorhome – the 2009 Ventura. Built on an
8,550-pound gvwr 2500 Series Sprinter van chassis with a 154-hp, 3.0-liter Mercedes CDI
6-cylinder engine, the Ventura line “will be a high line product with many features not
found in the Class B market today,” asserts Four Winds national sales manager Scott
Jacobson.

The Ventura will be available in a 24-foot floorplan that will include some
unique amenities. Features that set the Ventura apart from other Class B motorhomes include
the sleeper sofa – which doubles as a king bed – European-inspired curved cabinetry,
19-inch LCD television with a coach stereo system and video prep, exterior wash station and
deluxe MCD shades with electronic controls, to name a few.

The freshwater tank has a
30-gallon capacity, and the grey and black water tanks hold 22 and 10 gallons,
respectively. Base msrp is $93,093.
