Geared toward the RV, camping and tailgating markets, the Rayzar HDTV broadcast antenna is Winegard Co.’s latest product for tuning in local broadcast channels such as ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, Fox and more.
The paper-thin, translucent Rayzar is just .6 inches thing and can be hung on the internal windows of any motorhome – a solution for those with little roof space or for RVers who simply don’t want a cumbersome antenna. Weighing in at just over 5 ounces, the Rayzar finds and pulls in the local broadcast stations for free viewing. There are no monthly program fees, just clear HD reception through the 12-by-13-in antenna. Winegard said the Rayzar is ideal for RVs because it can be rapidly set up once the vehicle in parked and easily removed for departure.
“The Rayzar is a great fit for the mobile lifestyle, the quick release suction cup clips make it easy to reposition the antenna at each location for maximum reception,” said Aaron Engberg, director of mobile products for Winegard Co. “Consumers will be amazed at the almost Blu-ray quality picture and quantity of channels it pulls in for free wherever they are parked.
The Rayzar has a simple plug in and play setup, with no assembly required. Connect the cable to the TV, find the optimal antenna placement, run a channel scan and watch TV. Included is 15 feet of mini coaxial cable to give the viewer flexibility in positioning the antenna where the signal is strongest.
Rayzar, which retails for $44.99, is now available and shipping to RV retailers and dealers nationwide
