The 2014 Audi Q7 boasts seating for up to seven people and an available torquey, economical diesel engine. It combines a luxurious interior, with impressive performance and good towing capability and the long wheelbase provides excellent ride quality and towing stability. All-wheel drive delivers secure all-weather traction for negotiating snowy or rain-slick highways, while rich leather, suede, and wood coddle the passengers.
Three different power levels are offered. The 3.0T base model gets a 280-horsepower, 3.0-liter supercharged gasoline V-6, and the top option is S-Line, with a high-output 333-hp 3.0-liter supercharged gas V-6. Thrifty TDI models get a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V-6 which is rated 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. Tow ratings up to 6,600 pounds are available with the right equipment.

Front seats are comfortable and designed to accommodate tall drivers. In the second row, adults fit fine, and a large sunroof brightens it. The third row has smaller seats and less legroom and headroom, so it’s best for kids only. Both the second and third rows fold down to create up to 88 cubic feet of cargo space.

Audi’s ‘xenon plus’ headlamps are now standard on all Q7 for improved visibility. An optional Bang & Olufsen audio system is offered, as well as an internet-connected MMI interface with sat navigation. You can have wifi hotspot capability, and view Google Earth maps and points of interest onscreen.
