Tiffin Motorhomes Inc. has revamped its gas-powered Allegro Bay Class A and Allegro Bus
diesel-pusher motorhomes for 2004. The Allegro Bay, available on a Workhorse W-22 chassis
with an 8.1-liter GM Vortex V8 engine, has been redesigned with new front and rear caps,
and new interior decors that include stainless-steel kitchen accents. With a base retail
price of $123,669, the Allegro Bay is offered in one 34-foot and three 36-foot floorplans.
The Allegro Bus, built on a Freightliner XC chassis, is available with standard engines
ranging from a 330-hp Caterpillar to a 350-hp Cummins power plant, depending on the
floorplan. The coach is available in six 36- to 40-foot floorplans, including three with
triple slides. With a base price of $239,260, the 2004 Allegro Bus features a free-standing
dinette, a home theater, ultra-leather furniture, porcelain tile and solid-surface
countertops, and a choice of oak, walnut or natural maple solid-wood cabinets and doors.
