Thor Motor Coach Inc.’s Outlaw toy hauler was the No. 1 selling Class A toy hauler motorhome for 2012, according to data from Statistical Surveys Inc.
The Outlaw is attracting buyers outside the original market for which it was created, according to a press release. Additional applications include: dog grooming studio; mobile dental office; mobile office area; medical examination rooms; hunting lodge; mobile blood drive unit; tailgating vehicle
Recently introduced, the 37MD model adds a second slide room, which is dual-purposed as a second living area or dedicated bedroom. This functionality is the result of input from consumers wanting to have a single motorhome that can be converted for full-time camping. A sliding glass door separates the garage from the front of the coach and includes a powered shade for privacy.
The 37LS model features a large slide in the front of the coach for an unobstructed living area. An oversized booth dinette can accommodate four people for dinner, while the front captain’s chairs swivel, allowing for interaction with people on the large hide-a-bed sofa.
Either model can be equipped with an electric drop-down bunk over the cockpit area. The bed slides down to provide a comfortable sleeping space for two, and when not in use can slide back up into the ceiling.
In addition, the Outlaw’s garage and ramp door expand and create another place for entertaining. An optional patio railing system forms a terrace off the rear of the coach, while optional fold-down sofas will accommodate seating for six inside the garage.
