The Scenic Route: Get Connected

Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

In our travels along The Scenic Route one of our recurring struggles has been finding decent internet access. While many campgrounds now offer free wi-fi connectivity, the reality is that surfing the web, sending email and all the other online tasks you take for granted at home become a much more much more iffy proposition on the road.

Enter Chris Dunphy and Cherie Ve Ard, a tech-savvy full-timing couple that have sorted through a long list of connectivity options over the past several years, learning what works and what doesn’t in the process.  The pair have now shared that hard-won expertise in their new e-book The Mobile Internet Handbook

In its 85 pages you’ll find advice and recommendations covering connectivity options from cellular to wi-fi and even satellite broadband access.  All written in a friendly, easy-to-understand style that makes the whole subject much less intimidating than it might otherwise be.  Personally, this is the book I wish we’d had before we hit the road last spring.

In short, if you want to get online reliably while you’re on the road, this book can keep you from having to reinvent the wheel.
