With a large truck-and-trailer combo, the less time spent maneuvering around the tight quarters of a fuel station, the better. Transfer Flow offers a way to increase the range of GMC trucks with a larger-capacity fuel tank. Midship replacement fuel-tank systems are available for 2003 and 2004 GM C4500-5500 cab chassis. A 48-gallon replacement tank is available for chassis with an 84-, 108-, 120-, and 126-inch cab-to-axle measurement, while a 43-gallon tank is available for chassis with a 60-inch cab-to-axle measurement. The tanks are constructed from a combination of 12- and 14-gauge aluminized steel and are powdercoated. They come with all straps and mounting hardware necessary for installation, and will replace either the GM chassis’ OEM midship or aft of axle fuel tank.
