Starcraft RV is shedding its image as a camping-trailer specialist with several additions
to its 2004 lineup, most notably the introduction of the Topeka, Indiana, company’s first
motorhome in years. The Ambient Class C series, including five 24- to 31-foot floorplans,
is being built by Starcraft’s sister company, Jayco, in Middlebury, Indiana.
The motorhomes
will feature single slideouts, maple-edged countertops and skylight-equipped bathrooms.
Available on Ford 14,050-pound gross vehicle weight-rated (gvwr) cutaway chassis, they will
carry manufacturer’s suggested retail prices of $64,843 to $69,614.
