Spartan Chassis displayed its patented mid-engine Me2 on a new motorhome
model at the 43rd Annual National RV Trade Show last month in
Louisville, Kentucky. Newmar Corporation showcased its All Star, a new
Class A motorhome riding on a Spartan Me2 that features a two-level
bedroom in rear, large enough for two bunk beds and a queen-size bed,
allowing the vehicle to sleep up to eight people and specifically
designed for families.
The Spartan Me2 chassis has the engine in the middle of the
coach and below the frame rails, allowing for flat floors, more room,
design flexibility, and better ride and handling. The Me2 also increases
the layout possibilities for future motorhomes, such as having a hot
tub, workshop, or master bedroom with half-bath in the rear of the
vehicle.
Spartan offers a “virtual tour” of possible layouts at www.spartanchassis.com.
