See Ya! Sooo Long 40′

Motorhome manufacturers striving to stay at the top of their games are continually casting
about for new ways to enhance the performance, livability and residential usefulness of
their products. Oftentimes, such innovations can be sourced to the size and positioning of
room extensions — and, that’s definitely the case with Alfa Leisure’s new See Ya! Sooo
Long 40-foot floorplan. The notable difference, however, is that Alfa didn’t saddle the new
coach with opposing stadium-sized slideouts (although its single forward slide does stretch
for 24 feet). Instead, it took the term “residential ambiance” in an entirely different
direction, creating a distinctive rear bedroom with a double tip-out office module. So,
owners have the option of either working at a residential-sized pull-out desk with full
electrical and cable hookups, sleeping, or watching television on a 20-inch, flat-screen
television. In the unit’s generously endowed galley, meals were easily and effectively
prepared. All the essentials are here for creating cuisine from simple to elegant On the
road, the coach is quite agile and maneuverable for its size, with only minimal body roll
experienced in a few situations. This is due in-part to the Holland Neway air spring
suspension and an impressive 56-degree front wheel cut that allows it to easily carve
corners on winding roadways and make sharp turns that seem improbable for a vehicle of its
proportions. Of course, it would take a lot more engine to completely overcome the Alfa’s
size. The coach is a distance runner, not a sprinter, and speed tests on a level stretch of
roadway confirmed this fact. Trying to sum up the best attributes of any
quarter-million-dollar motorcoach in just a few words can be an exercise in futility, but
while vacationing in the See Ya! Sooo Long we did find ourselves oftentimes using words
like “spacious,” “comfortable” and “unique” — especially when describing the floorplan and
its innovative hallway design that allows access to the entire coach even when the large
bath area is occupied. The classy coach is just the ticket for long-range interstate
cruising and hanging out at high-end RV resorts. For complete details and full test
