Travelers can quickly and easily wander among a tropical rainforest, a cool Himalayan Mountain, an arid desert and an inviting Pacific Island water garden. The conservatory makes a fine place to picnic, and dovetails nicely with the Topiary Garden on Town
Street.
Next, step inside the Columbus Museum of Art to partake of the
finest paintings and sculptures in the region. To sample a dose of local
passion (Michigan Wolverines best steer clear), stop by the Buckeye
Hall of Fame Cafe, then shop, peruse and carouse in the nearby area
known as Short North. This small, vibrant district can be explored
almost anytime, but on weekend nights the place shouts out to travelers
unknowingly just passing through.
