Motorcoaches will feature FCCC’s FRED front-engine chassis on its
brand-new 2007 Simba FD.

The FRED chassis features a 5.9-liter Cummins electronic diesel
engine that produces 300 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque, combined with the
Allison 2100MH five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Other
noteworthy features include a 55-degree wheel cut for great
maneuverability, a 26,000-pound gross vehicle weight rating for
increased floorplan options, and Freightliner LLC’s service network of
more than 400 locations.

Production of the Simba FD is currently in progress, and its public debut is scheduled for Fall 2006.
