La Mesa RV is donating temporary use of a motorhome or a trailer to the victims of the
recent California fires. The dealership has teamed up with local RV parks in the San Diego,
California, area — including Campland on the Bay, De Anza Harbor Resort and Chula Vista RV
Resort — to help provide shelter for the victims. “We want to be a great community citizen
and offer the ability to [offer] people shelter, out of harm’s way,” said James Kimbrell,
CEO of La Mesa RV. Victims of the fires who are interested in the program are asked to
contact Jannine Tejada or Dale Smallwood at (858) 874-8000 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., seven
days a week. People who participate in the program will need to go to La Mesa RV to be
assigned a vehicle and a camping space.
