consumption. Can LEDs be dimmed, though?
A. Technically, LEDs can be
dimmed by reducing voltage to them, but it can damage the LEDs and reduce their life
expectancy. Therefore, they need to operate on the correct voltage. To get a dimming
effect, however, you can create several circuits with separate switches to bring on groups
of LEDs.
