For the first time, the NW Natural Street of Dreams tour in Portland,
Ore., will showcase a motorhome as part of its luxury home presentation.
Johnson RV is the local business, specializing in new and pre-owned recreational vehicles that will be exhibiting the motorhome, made by Entegra Coach.
Presented by the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland, the
tour has inspired attendees by showcasing the most impressive and
innovative luxury homes the building industry has to offer, according to
a news release.
For its 35th anniversary, the tour has evolved to highlight dream
living, 2010-style. The tour, which runs through Aug. 29, is based at
Cresap Summit, a new development located off Skyline Boulevard.
“We are delighted to be a part this year’s tour,” says Brandon
Johnson, owner of Johnson RV. “As people will see when they walk through
our motorhome on display at this year’s NW Natural Street of Dreams, RV
living and traveling has come a very long way. Our industry is
providing truly luxurious and livable solutions that are within reach
for big dreamers. RVs come in all shapes and sizes, and are a wonderful
option for rental or ownership for those with an adventurous spirit.”
The recreational vehicle that is featured on this year’s tour is
the 2010 Insignia. This luxury diesel motorhome is at the top of its
class, featuring solid handcrafted hardwood cabinetry, 10-cubic-foot
Norcold refrigerator, lush Ultra Leather upholstery, 40-inch LCD screen
television, porcelain travertino flooring and exclusive X-Bridge chassis
to ensure a smooth ride.
Nancy Haskin, director of membership and Events for the Home
Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland, reports that “the
motorhome is a perfect added feature for the NW Natural Street of Dreams
tour. So many people dream of living in beautiful homes and also dream
of traveling. Showcasing another lifestyle dream that achieves both
goals is inspirational to all who walk through it. So far, the motorhome
has been well-received by our attendees. People are enjoying the tour
that includes dreams of different shapes and sizes, which is the theme
of our show.”
