However, it keeps happening. A recent GM study reveals that humid heat poses an even greater danger to a person or pet trapped in a hot vehicle.
GM is developing sensor technology that would alert passersby to the presence of a child, vulnerable adult or pet trapped in a dangerously hot vehicle.
