Oregon Tests RV-Friendly Highway Symbols

Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

RV-Friendly symbols are being tested this summer along a stretch of Interstate 5 south of Portland, Oregon, from exit 278 to Albany, at exit 233.

The bright-yellow circle displays a crescent smile under the letters RV.

To qualify for an RV-Friendly symbol, a business must meet certain standards that cater to the needs of RVers, including large parking spaces and easy entry/exit. Look for the symbols on blue highway signs with logos informing travelers about the availability of services and tourist attractions.
