The National Park Service launched Park of the Week, a new Internet page to increase public awareness of the improvements under way and recreational opportunities available in the parks.
“Park of the Week is a great opportunity for our parks to connect with the public,” said Director Fran Mainella.
Each Monday, Park of the Week features a new national park, highlighting events and activities available to the visiting public, and also telling the story of how partnerships, construction projects and volunteers contribute to the strength of the National Park System.
