Pontiac Torrent SUV
Pontiac will be getting a new SUV that’s built on the same platform as the Chevrolet Equinox and Saturn VUE. It will likely be named the Torrent. It’s expected to arrive as a 2006 model with similar powertrains, in front- or all-wheel-drive versions.
The Last Oldsmobile
The end of Oldsmobile came last month on April 29 when the 107-year-old company built its last car. The final Oldsmobile, an Alero, came off the Lansing assembly line. The final run of Aleros included 500 Special Editions; the last one will go to the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum in Lansing, Michigan.
