Time for a new RV? With listings for nearly 100 new travel trailers, small trailers, fifth-wheels, toy haulers and truck campers, we’ll help you decide
Once the holidays are done and the new year begins, so do the RV shows all over the continent. Dealers and manufacturers present their newest floorplans, decors and innovations, hoping to convince folks that the time has come for an entry into the RV lifestyle or an upgrade from that “old” RV. As in years past, the Trailer Life staff partnered with RVBusiness magazine to cover industry shows and events and provide coverage of the new models for 2020.
Wondering what the trends are for interior design? Pinterest and Instagram aren’t sources of ideas just for home decorators; they influence RV manufacturers as well. A number of companies are turning to outside designers and engineers to come up with new and exciting floorplans for RVers to drool over. Seeing this outside-the-box thinking is truly exciting.
How about a dual-elevated fifth-wheel with a raised bedroom in front and a raised gourmet galley in the rear or a built-in bar? Or maybe a travel trailer with a full walk-in closet? New drop-frame trailer designs have increased exterior storage space, and 12-volt DC compressor refrigerators are becoming commonplace. The key words are convenience, comfort, connectivity, entertainment and getting off the grid.
