Civil War history comes alive at the family-friendly Stonewall Jackson Museum at Hupp’s
Hill in Strasburg, Virginia. This hands-on museum will delight young and old alike.
Visitors will learn the story of General Jackson’s brilliant defense of the Shenandoah
Valley and get a vivid impression of what a soldier’s life was like back then. The facility
is open daily year-round except on major holidays. Also be sure to visit the Crystal
Caverns, located on the same property; a combination ticket costs $12 for adults, $9
seniors.

Located nearby, in downtown Strasburg’s History Square, is The Museum of American
Presidents, highlighting the lives of 42 men who have held the highest office in the land.
Sharing the building is the new Jeane Dixon Museum and Library, documenting the life and
predictions of the famous psychic. Tours are conducted Saturday and Sunday year-round.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors.
