Recently, high-line motorhome manufacturer Monaco announced it would
close three of its plants in Indiana. According to an Associated Press
article, Monaco now says it has reconsidered and will continue to
operate its chassis manufacturing plant in Elkhart.
The company will hire new employees from those furloughed from
other RV manufacturer layoffs. Monaco did not say how many jobs will be
saved.
