MotorHome magazine is now on Facebook. Although MotorHome has had a presence on Twitter for a while (www.twitter.com/motorhomemag), the magazine’s editors felt Facebook would foster a more interactive experience for readers. The intent of the Facebook page is to engage the magazine’s readers by creating a community that shares its love of the motorhome lifestyle. Within a few days of activating the page, 250 enthusiasts joined the fun, and the community is growing.
“Facebook is a wonderful avenue for us to be more interactive with our readers,” said MotorHome Editor Eileen Hubbard. “It’s a place for everyone to share favorite RVing stories, funny photos from the road, tips on camping or just special memories.”
Bob Livingston, publisher of MotorHome, agrees. “This is your page, and its success depends on your interaction,” he wrote in an introductory note on the page.
“We hope you’ll share your … passion. We plan to do the same.”
