Originally Published in MotorHome Magazine

Genesis by King of the Road, the fifth-wheel manufacturer’s first-ever Class A motorhome,
is a relatively high-end 38- to 40-foot diesel-pusher widebody with two to four slideouts.
Built on a Freightliner XC 32,000-pound gross-vehicle-weight-rated chassis with a 300-hp
Caterpillar engine, the coach will retail in the $250,000 range, according to National
Sales Manager Andy Bouchard. The first public showing of the new Class A is scheduled for
the Great North American RV Rally, sponsored by
MotorHome/Trailer Life and other divisions of Affinity Group Inc., in Louisville, Kentucky,
in June.
