Jayco Launches First Class A Motorhome Production

Indiana-based Jayco Inc. begins production of its first Class A motorhome line in May. The
diesel is named Avatar. Prototypes of a gasoline-powered Class A and two new Class C brands
are planned to be completed in May. Jayco is a leading manufacturer of folding camping
trailers, travel trailers and fifth-wheel trailers, as well as Class C motorhomes. The
decision to enter the Class A category was made quite awhile ago, after extensive consumer
research.
