International Truck and Engine Corporation, a Navistar company, is
partnering with Conquest Motorhomes, a division of Gulf Stream Coach and
one of the RV industry’s leading manufacturers, to make International
the exclusive cab and chassis provider for all of its Class C diesel
motorhomes. The International chassis is available on Gulf Stream
Coach’s Super Nova (pictured) and Gladiator (Enduramax) models.
The International chassis was chosen because of its superior
engineering and innovative electronics features, such as the
International Diamond Logic Electrical System and AWARE Vehicle
Intelligence. International, which will begin full-scale production in
June 2007, has already built more than 125 chassis.
The Super Nova and Gladiator (Enduramax) models built on the
International chassis feature superior gross vehicle weight (gvw)
capacity; best-in-class towing capability of up to 13,000 pounds;
roomiest cab in the category, including an ergonomic interior design;
proven, durable diesel engine offering the 300-hp International VT 365;
42 percent larger exterior mirrors; and smooth ride, handling and
maneuverability for drivers and passengers, International reported.
