The exterior windshield washer hose on our motorhome 
developed a leak that prevented the washer fluid from 
reaching the windshield. There is usually enough play or 
excess hose to cut out the leaking section, however, finding an insert to connect the line and/or insert a portion into the outlet can be difficult. I solved the problem by cutting a length of an empty ballpoint pen ink cartridge, and inserting it into the line and the outlet. You may have to look at several cartridges to find the right diameter, but it works great!
