Gulf Stream Coach Inc. has updated its popular Friendship, the company’s top-selling Class
A diesel motorhome for the last two years. The new Friendship G-7 Series, built on a
32,000-pound gross vehicle weight rated (gvwr) Freightliner XE chassis with a 330-hp
Caterpillar diesel engine, continues to feature a predominantly white interior, but the
inside height has been increased to 7 feet to accommodate a more residential design. With
base retail prices starting at $233,000, the new G-7, featuring completely redesigned front
and rear fiberglass caps, is available in a 38-foot triple slideout and two 40-foot
“Quattro,” four-slide floorplans. “Sand and buff” full-body paint is standard, and a $9,700
G-Vision option package has been added that includes a 65-inch, roof-mounted projection TV
with adjacent twin 15-inch LCD TV monitors. Standard deluxe rearview mirrors have been
added, and a hand-rubbed cherry interior is now available as an option.
