Grand Canyon Railway RV Park

Originally Published in MotorHome Magazine

Located within an easy walk to the Williams Visitor Center and the
historic downtown area including Route 66, the new Grand Canyon Railway
RV Park includes 124 state-of-the-art private spaces with room for
slideouts as well as “buddy spaces” for your traveling companions. Full
hookups, wireless Internet, a full-service convenience store and
recreational activities are offered; in addition, the park features a
sense of community, with a special 72-seat pavilion with gas grills,
picnic tables and a fire pit where evening talks and entertainment are
presented. Shuttle service to the Williams Depot transports guests to
their scheduled train for the 65-mile trip to the South Rim of the Grand
Canyon. Special packages and a AAA discount are available.

Just a stone’s throw from the campground sits the Grand Canyon Railway’s
Pet Resort, a comfortable and convenient “hotel” for four-legged
companions. Offering 28 rooms for dogs and 16 rooms for cats, the pet
resort includes individual playtime in the exercise yard and an optional
doggie wash. The new pet plaza is available to guests of the RV park,
hotel guests, railroad passengers and the general public who want to
leave their animals in a safe and secure setting while they enjoy the
scenery of Arizona.
