Any RVers thinking about hitting the road for free entry at national parks across the country have another reason to be excited. The largest maker of national park apps is celebrating National Park Week with a huge app giveaway.
Chimani, LLC announced that they would give away 1 million of their highly-rated apps starting April 18. The apps — normally priced between $4.99 and $9.99 — are available for the iPhone and Android devices in the iTunes App Store or on Google Play.
Most of the apps are designed specifically for each park. The list includes the Grand Canyon National Park, Yosemite National Park, Zion National Park and Glacier National Park, as well as many others. The National Parks app is also included and was designed to be “a virtual passport tool for all the National Park Service units.”
The apps deliver hiking information, points of interest, tour schedules, travel and lodging information and breaking news alerts.
Follow the links above to download the apps yourself or search “Chimani” in your favorite app store.
