Visitors and residents are encouraged to download the free Florida 511 app, visit Florida 511 to sign up for custom travel alerts for their specific route, or to simply call 511 (when in the state) to help avoid traffic congestion and to stay up-to-date on important alerts. The system offers information on road conditions, crashes, lane blockages and more.
The 511 website also connects visitors directly to Florida airports and seaports, enabling users to check the status of their flight, cruise or public-transit options.
