First Biodiesel-Only Station

Red Birch Energy in Bassett, Virginia is currently believed to be the only truck stop in
America that sells only biodiesel. Red Birch uses locally grown Canola seeds that are made
into diesel fuel and all fuel sold there is B-20, a mixture of 20% canola oil and 80%
diesel fuel. Red Birch presently sells B-20 for $4 per gallon and plans to expand its
offerings to other blends of biodiesel.
