E85 Fuel Becoming More Available

Originally Published in MotorHome Magazine

General Motors has partnered with Kroger Stores and Ohio to increase the
number of E85 ethanol fuel pumps in the state. The first pump will be
installed at a Kroger store in Columbus, Ohio. Five ethanol plants are
planned for Ohio; three are under construction. Upon completion, the
plants are expected to produce up to 270 million gallons of ethanol a
year.

General Motors reports that it has partnerships with other
state governments, fuel retailers and ethanol producers in California,
Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota and Texas. Together
they are expected to open 160 new E85 stations by the end of 2006.
