Dynasty 43 King III

Today’s luxury motorhomes do a very good job of duplicating residential life, albeit in a
much smaller space. You can use the bathroom, bathe, prepare meals, watch your favorite
television shows and more — all from the comfort of your home on wheels. One place that
most coaches is still lacking, however, is in privacy; no matter how big the floorplan, you
still have to share a bathroom. In most instances, this isn’t considered an inconvenience
— but when traveling or visiting with guests, it can be a little awkward. For those RVers
who would welcome a little more private time, Monaco recently introduced its Dynasty 43
King III. “The thing that is special about the King III is its huge rear bathroom,”
explained Monaco’s Jim Mac. “We call it a master bath — it’s got a toilet, large neo-angle
shower and lavatory, plus a huge wardrobe, linen closet and a washer-dryer option. There’s
also a half-bath ahead of the bedroom in the living area, which is great when
entertaining.” This isn’t Monaco’s first rear-bath coach, but it is the biggest — in every
respect. One of 11 floorplans in the Dynasty line, the King III is built on Monaco’s
proprietary Roadmaster chassis, which is engineered for the specific needs of not only the
coach, but the floorplan. This allows Monaco to design and build innovative coaches, with
no limitations placed upon it by an outside chassis supplier. As its name would imply, the
King III is loaded with luxury features. The driver’s compartment features
six-way-adjustable leather driver and front passenger seats, adjustable brake and
accelerator pedals, and Monaco’s own Aladdin video coach system, which allows the user to
check engine functions, outside temperature, compass headings and more through the back-up
monitor. Aft of the driver’s seat is a large streetside slideout that houses a sofa,
free-standing two-place dinette and four-door refrigerator. The opposing galley features
Corian countertops, two-burner cooktop and convection microwave. A choice of seven
different cabinet finishes and five different fabric colors (along with three exterior
paint schemes) allows true personalization. Entertainment is provided by a standard home
theater system with DVD/VCR/CD player and 24-inch flat-screen television in the living
area. The bedroom suite features a queen bed and two nightstands in a small streetside
slideout; an opposing slide houses a dresser with overhead 20-inch flat-screen television.
The King III also comes standard with Monaco hallmarks like its Pana-view one-piece
windshield, Multiplex electrical system and optional SEE-Vision side-view camera system,
which can also be used as a security camera when parked. Another useful option for
all-season RVers is the hydronic heating system, which provides radiant heat throughout the
coach. Monaco Coach Corporation, (800) 634-0855
