Colorado May Require Slow-Moving Rigs to Pull Over

Colorado House Bill 1042, if passed, will require drivers traveling below the speed limit
and with more than five vehicles behind them, to pull off the road at the first safe
location or be subject to a ticket and fine. Rep. Mike Merrifield, a Democrat from Colorado
Springs who authored the bill, noted that “The courteous thing to do is when you have the
opportunity, get out of the way.”
