Fleetwood Folding Trailers Inc. (FFT), manufacturer of Coleman folding
camping trailers, has introduced a 12-foot Coleman Monterey with
remote-control automatic setup.
“You can put up the top, or either bed can be extended independent
of the other,” said Larry Marsh, director of sales and marketing for
FFT. “Or, you can put the whole thing up in a synchronized motion.
That’s the way most people would use it.”
The Monterey’s remote system is anchored by three electric motors,
which control setting up and breaking down the unit. Part of the
high-end Coleman Grand Tour Elite series, the Monterey retails in the
$13,500 range.
