Coachmen Designs Fuel Efficient Coach

Originally Published in MotorHome Magazine

The new Prism from Coachmen Recreational Vehicle Company is a high-tech,
fuel-efficient Sprinter-based motorhome designed for couples and small
families. This diesel coach gets an estimated 17 to 19 miles per gallon
and is loaded with easy-living features, making it ideal for touring or
everyday use.

Engineers used the Freightliner Sprinter chassis as the
platform for the Prism M-230, a 24-foot 11-inch coach. With
European-inspired style and appointments throughout, the Prism M-230
features two sofas, giving the entire family comfortable seating. The
cabover bunk is a good place to store gear when traveling. “Sensuous
curves” describe the contoured easy-on-the-eye cabinets, furniture and
everything else.

Features include plank-wood vinyl flooring with removable
carpet, LCD TV on a swing arm, stylish halogen lights throughout, and a
standard exterior entertainment center. The new Prism has an MSRP
starting around $104,990.
