The current feature exhibition, “What Makes Us Smile?” is described by the museum as “a playful celebration of human joy.” If you find yourself inspired after viewing the eclectic mix of art, go to the third floor photo booth to show us what makes you smile.
Fort McHenry National Monument & Historic Shrine is an important piece of national history. Francis Scott Key wrote our national anthem after the fort’s successful defense against the British during the War of 1812. The summer months offer daily ranger talks, weekend living history, and military demonstrations by the Fort McHenry Guard.
Set up camp at Morris Meadows Recreation Farm (GSC park) in Freeland, Md., less than 40 miles north of Baltimore. This will be convenient as a home base for your rig since many urban attractions offer metered street parking best navigated by a dinghy or tow vehicle.
