ABC News made a special visit to Winnebago Industries’ Forest City, Iowa, facilities last week to videotape a segment for Diane Sawyer’s “Made in America” TV series.

Focusing on the improvement in the RV industry and Winnebago‘s own business, videographer Eric Noll toured the plant facilities and interviewed employees. News anchor David Muir and Noll had previously attended Winnebago’s Dealer Days event and test drove a new 2014 Winnebago Tour on the Las Vegas strip. The “Made in America” segment will air tonight, June 3, on ABC.

CNBC also recently visited Winnebago for a segment included in its “Comeback Companies” series. According to a press release, CNBC correspondent Phil LeBeau interviewed Winnebago Chairman, CEO and President Randy Potts, discussing the builder’s turnaround. Watch the video here.

After facing cutbacks and dwindling sales during the recession, Winnebago began to gain momentum last year and officially turned the corner in 2013 as evidenced by a strong second-quarter earnings report.

The company saw a 34.6 percent gain in revenue as sales rose to $177.2 million versus $131.6 million for the second quarter of fiscal 2012. Net income during the period totaled $6.3 million versus a loss of $912,000 the previous year.
