2014 Ford F-150 Tremor

Originally Published in Trailer Life Magazine

Ford’s latest addition to the best-selling F-150 lineup is the new Tremor sport truck for the 2014 model year. The Tremor will be powered by a potent twin-turbocharged, 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 rated at 365 horsepower and known for excellent fuel economy. Tremor comes with the F-150’s regular cab on a 126-inch wheelbase and has a short bed. Both rear- and four-wheel-drive versions will be available. Although no tow rating has been announced, the Tremor will come with a 4.10:1 rear axle ratio and an electronically controlled locking rear differential, so it should be good for towing conventional trailers and hauling out boats.
F_150Tremor_2014_dashTremor models will have distinct badges and wheels, plus an FX appearance package, a console-mounted floor shift, and special leather bucket seats. Other features include standard HID headlamps, 20-inch black rims, and MyFord Touch and SYNC electronics. Prices haven’t been released yet. Tremor special editions will be on sale at Ford dealers later this year.
