While A students might look down on a B+ as a course grade, when it comes to motorhomes, the Class B+ goes far beyond just passing. The 2011 Monaco Montclair is a perfect example of why the new Class B+’s are some of the hottest and most desirable rigs around.
For the 2011 Montclair, potential buyers can choose from three floorplans in lengths of 25, 28 and 29 feet, three stylish interior decor packages and four exterior color themes (three of which are full-body paint). Buyers also have a choice when it comes to the chassis – a Ford chassis with 6.8L Triton V-10 or Chevy chassis with a Vortec 6.0L V-8. These are just a few of the ways that the Montclair can be customized to buyers’ individual needs and style tastes without having to compromise.
The Montclair has a truly handsome galley with raised-panel Newport Cherry cabinetry, a three-burner stainless steel cooktop, microwave oven, flush-mount single-door refrigerator, solid-surface countertops and a hardwood-framed booth dinette. Sleeping appointments include a queen bed, leatherette hide-a-bed sofa and a Select Comfort mattress in certain models.
There’s only one small TV – a 26-inch LCD in the cabover bunk area – but that shouldn’t matter much since RVing is supposed to be all about spending time outdoors!
