Before heading into the long Labor Day weekend, there is just enough time to recap the biggest news stories from the RV and camping industries from this past week. Here are a few things you might find interesting:

  • Tiffin to Debut Cornerstone Luxury Coach in Hershey: We’re now just about a week and a half away from the start of the Hershey RV SuperShow, which means we should see a deluge of announcements leading up to the event. One of those announcements came this week from Tiffin Motorhomes, which revealed that the RV manufacturer will unveil its all-new Cornerstone Luxury Coach at the expo. The official unveiling will be made to the media on Tuesday, September 15, with the new rig being on display for the general public the following day. Tiffin says the new Cornerstone line will start with the Cornerstone Series 6 model with the 645D floor plan. Two demo units will be at the show, one with modern decor and the other with a more traditional Tiffin approach. We can’t wait to see them.

  • Soaring Eagle Campers Launches New BunkHouse Brand: Rugged, all-aluminum truck camper manufacturer Soaring Eagle has announced a new sub-brand dubbed BunkHouse, which is designed to evoke ranch-style living, including rodeos, horses, and cowboy culture. The new models will come in two flavors: a smaller unit with a more basic design made for half-ton trucks, and a larger model for three-quarter ton and one-ton pickups that includes a bathroom with a shower. The interior decor will feature earthy colors, distressed leather furniture, and a general Southwestern vibe.  Hopefully, we’ll catch a glimpse of these new options in Hershey, PA, too.

  • Radica Campers Offers Hard-Sided Pop-Up Truck Camper: Innovation in the truck camper space continues at a fast pace. Take the latest offering from Denver-based Radica called the Stargate. The lightweight topper-style camper is hard-sided, making it a good option for use in four-season conditions. But better still, this model features a pop-up design, allowing it to stay sleek and aerodynamic in transit, while offering more room once you reach the campsite. The interior is surprisingly large, with room for a queen bed, space to sit up straight, and cargo pods and L-track for keeping gear organized. Pricing starts at $16,899. Check out the Stargate here.

  • GearJunkie Picks the Best Walkie Talkies of 2026: In an age where everyone has a cell phone and cell coverage is much improved from years past, the humble walkie-talkie still has its place. This is especially true for RVers and overlanders, who find numerous reasons to carry two-way radios with them on their adventures. This week, our friends over at GearJunkie shared their picks for the best models to use in 2026, offering options that are reliable, rugged, and offer great battery life. • Demco Upgrades Braking Systems with USB Power Support: Staying on the topic of braking systems, this week Demco announced that its Wireless CoachLink for Demco Air Force One and Stay-IN-Play DUO models now come standard with connections for USB and 12V power cables. This expands compatibility with a wide range of vehicles and RVs, as newer models have moved away from the traditional 12V power port towards modern USB options. RV Pro has the skinny here.

That’s all for this week. Enjoy the Labor Day weekend and see you next Friday for another edition of our weekly RV news roundup.
