RV News: Winnebago Teases the Arka, Nexus RV’s New Super C, and More

Hello, and welcome to another edition of our weekly roundup of the latest news from the RV industry. As usual, we have plenty to cover, so let’s dive right in:

  • Winnebago to Reveal Arka Truck Camper: Later today, Winnebago will reveal the latest addition to its lineup, the impressive-looking Arka truck-based camper. As of this writing, not much is known about the new rig, other than it is a major departure from anything the company is currently producing. From the early photos, this looks like a rugged, off-road/overlanding-oriented RV, which makes sense considering it’s expected to make its official public debut next week at Overland Expo West. Stay tuned, as we’ll provide an update once more is revealed. Update: The Arka has been fully revealed. You can learn more by clicking on the link above. Nexus RV Rebel Air

  • Nexus RV Unveils New Rebel Air Class C Coach: The latest motorhome from Nexus RV brings several impressive features to the market, including being the only 4×4 Super C with an air suspension on the rear axle as standard equipment. The new Rebel Air also comes with upgraded heavy-duty shocks, a larger LP tank capacity, and a Showermeiser water reclamation system. An optional add-on kit adds a rugged front bumper, a brush guard, and LED flood lights. The new rig is shipping to dealers now.

  • Venture RV Debuts Lightweight and Affordable Towables: The folks at Venture RV have been busy this year, pumping out new travel trailers that are compact, easy to tow, and affordable. The new Sienna Lite models are designed with solo travelers and couples in mind, with options starting under $15k. Our friends at Auto Evolution have the full rundown here.

  • AEONrv Intros New App with AI-Powered Owner Experience: Artificial Intelligence has proliferated nearly every aspect of our lives, including the apps we use on a daily basis. Now, we can add the AEONrv ownership platform app to that list, as this week the RV manufacturer announced an updated version of the software that uses AI to answer questions in simple, easy-to-understand, plain language. The app offers vehicle-specific tech support, integrated trip planning, and a verified owner network for sharing info and knowledge. RV Pro has more here. 
Pacific Coast Highway

  • The Dyrt Shares Road Trip Guide for the Pacific Coast: This week, we take a break from The Dyrt’s usual drip of insightful stats and trends about camping for something equally interesting and helpful. The online campsite discovery platform shared its excellent Pacific Coast Highway road trip guide, covering all 1,650 miles of that iconic route, with plenty of suggestions of things to do along the way. Of course, it also offers options for where to camp while driving from San Diego in the south to the Canadian border in the north, passing through California, Oregon, and Washington state while en route.   • RV Rental Association Sees Strong Demand for Summer 2026: The RVRA (RV Rental Association) is tracking high levels of interest for renting an RV this summer. In a press release sent out a few days back, the organization shared the results of a recent survey that showed 60% of RV rental companies saw an increase in bookings in April, with 70% expecting 5-6 night average rentals heading into the busy summer season. That’s just the tip of the iceberg for the latest trends in the space. RV Business has a good summary here.
