Another week has come and gone, and the weekend is upon us. But before we go, we have just enough time to catch up on the latest news from the RV industry. Here are a few things that happened this week:

- Pebble Starts Shipping Pebble Flow Magic Pack Edition: Pebble, the company behind the amazing Pebble Flow electric travel trailer, announced this week that it has begun delivering its more affordable Magic Pack Trim. This new model starts at $139,500, while delivering many of the rig’s signature features, including Active Tow Assist, Magic Hitch, and Easy Tow. It also comes with a 45kWh battery pack, the Auto Dump feature, powered stabilizers, interior privacy glass, a portable charging kit, and more. While still pricey, the towable is now much more competitively priced without making significant compromises to what the Pebble Flow has to offer. Visit the company’s website for more information.

- Gretch RV Upgrades Its Power Systems for 2027: Camper van manufacturer Grech RV revealed a new power system coming to its Class B coaches in the 2027 model year. Created in conjunction with Victron Energy, those systems get a boost in battery capacity, with the Grech Power Max system going from 16,896Wh up to 20,480Wh, which translates to up to 16 hours of continuous A/C use. That option is available in the Strada-ion, Terreno-ion, and Turismo-ion models, while the Grech Power Core increases from 8448Wh to 10,240Wh (8 hours of A/C use) and is available in the Vacanza-ion vans. Visit the company’s website for more info.

- Is Chrysler Considering a Pacifica Camper Van?: Class B coaches continue to be popular, drawing in a range of younger, more active RVers. Now, it seems that Chrysler—yes, Chrysler—may want in on some of that action. Last year, the automaker showed off a concept vehicle called the Pacifica Grizzly Peak Edition, which was a version of the popular mini-van designed with camping in mind. The prototype model includes features like a lightly lifted suspension, all-terrain tires, a flat interior surface with space for a mattress, integrated power outlets, and more. Now, Gear Patrol says the company is seriously considering bringing this model to market. Read more here.

- We usually go camping with our spouses/partners and dogs: The latest reveal from The Dyrt’s 2026 Camping Report provides some unsurprising—but certainly interesting—insights into who we go camping with. The survey conducted with Dyrt members, campground owners, and the general public revealed that 72.2% of campers usually travel with their spouse or partner. We’re not leaving our furry friends behind either, as nearly half (49.7%) say they bring their dog with them as well. Read the full report here.

- Trump Ends Mining Protections for Boundary Waters: In a decided blow for conservation and protecting public lands, President Trump officially signed a bill this week that removes protection from mining for 225,504 acres of land in the Superior National Forest, located adjacent to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. The new law removes a 20-year ban on mineral and geothermal leasing for the area, which occupies Cook, Lake, and Saint Louis counties in Minnesota. Critics say the removal of the previous order blocking mining opens up these important wilderness areas to potential environmental disasters. GearJunkie has the full story here.

- Trump Admin Pulls Nomination for National Park Service Director: While we’re on the subject of public lands, there was a big development for the National Park Service this week, too. The Trump Administration pulled its controversial nominee to head the NPS over potential conflict of interest concerns. That nominee was Scott Socha, who formerly worked at Delaware North, a concessionaire for the national parks that runs hotels, restaurants, and other services in the parks. Critics claimed Socha was unqualified for the job and cited Delaware North’s attempts to trademark the name for Yosemite National Park and several of its facilities a few years back, drawing the ire of outdoor enthusiasts and ending up in court with the Park Service, before ultimately settling the dispute. No word yet on who will now head the NPS moving forward.
That’s a wrap! See you next Friday for another edition of our weekly RV and camping news roundup.
