- Renogy Powers Up MDC USA Off-Road Trailers: This week, renewable energy company Renogy and MDC USA campers announced a collaboration in which both companies are working together to put a turnkey off-grid power system into the off-road travel trailers. The system will first appear in the XT9 towable and includes 525W of solar, a 400Ah lithium house battery, a 3000W inverter, and DC-to-DC charging, all installed at the factory. This marks a substantial upgrade in terms of convenience and efficiency for buyers, giving them a readymade system for off-grid camping. RV Pro has more details here.

- Grand Design Expands “Worry-Free” Roof to Momentum Line of Towables: Last fall, Grand Design unveiled a new approach to making RV roofs—developed in collaboration with TekModo—that takes much of the worry of roof maintenance out of the RV ownership equation. At the time, the brand had started incorporating the new Worry-Free seamless composite roof into its Solitude, Influence, and Foundation lines. This week, the company announced that the breakthrough product is now shipping on its Momentum fifth-wheel and Momentum G travel trailers models. The design breakthrough with the roof is that it is made from a single seamless piece, thus eliminating points of failure such as joints and seams. Find out more here.

Those include better performance in a confined space, full output even at 104ºF temperatures, and a reduced footprint (26% smaller, 28% lighter) compared to equivalent models from the competition. The RS3 is designed for OEMs, DIY builders, or anyone looking to upgrade their existing inverter, with plug-and-play, no software or programming installs, built-in auto transfer switches, and other features designed to take the complexity out of the process. A further 9.7% say they plan to utilize artificial intelligence in planning their camping trips this year. On top of that, more than half of the survey respondents say they plan to use satellite internet—read Starlink—while camping this year, with a third of those respondents saying they had already used it in 2025.
